   Rebuild Iraq Trade Show Jordan May 2006

Danny took his first trip to the middle east to attend the Rebuild Iraq trade show in Jordan and to set up a dealer for the middle east. Danny had a really great trip and met some of the most wonderful and friendly people. My host was George Sawalha - our new dealer in Jordan.  George and his family were most hospitable, inviting me to their home for traditional Jordanian cuisine.

Jordan is dusty and full of concrete, and not much steel, but the middle east is going through a construction boom and we are hoping to pick up some of the action over there - time will tell! And just so you know - Jordanian drivers make the Dominican motorists look totally predictable and safety conscious, so you can get an idea of the insanity on the roads. At a three lane intersection the cars were huddled up five abreast!
